March 7, 2014 Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo
The Flamingo hotel offers free admission to their wildlife habitat. The habitat is home to a flock of Chilean Flamingos.
In addition to the flamingos, there are ducks and various other birds.
The habitat is also home to brown pelicans that came to them in 2012 from a rescue in California. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the exhibit was closed for renovation. Generally, the pelican feedings happen at 8:30am and 2pm.
The habitat is also home to a pond full of koi fish, some of the biggest ones I have ever seen.
