July 6, 2017 Full Moon
Located in Huron Village, Full Moon lets parents eat delicious food while their kids spend time in the play space. They have buckets of toys that you can bring to the table, a kitchen area and plenty of trucks to go around. Color with crayons on the paper on the table while you have brunch. This restaurant makes me want to move to Cambridge – it is laid back and family friendly. More times than I care to admit, we are at Panera or Bertucci’s because of the kids (I am so tired of Panera, but where else can you get a quick, not super expensive lunch?). Here, they can still get a hot dog, pizza or mac and cheese but you can get things like a pulled pork sandwich, grilled salmon or a cheddar and bacon omelette.
Brunch is served 7 days a week from 9am -2:30pm. Kid’s meals are priced at $6-$8, while the “adult menu” ranges in price from $8-$14. I love any place that I can get breakfast all day. The omelette was tasty, served with a small side salad and crispy potatoes. They have so many other items on the menu that caught my eye and will have me coming back: chicken tacos, grilled peaches, Mexican chicken salad and the grilled chicken BLT. Dinner items include things like: Thai seafood stew, asian chicken salad, grilled rosemary lamb skewers and mussels and Portugese chorizo. Appetizers at dinner range from $7-$13 and entrees are $18-$23.
Have you been to Full Moon before? Where is your go to family friendly restaurant?
