December 15, 2015 Park
These days it’s hard for me to keep up. It was only 3 months late in taking my friend Julia out for her birthday when we headed over to Park in Harvard Square. Note that this was a few months ago, the weather was nice enough that they opened the windows and we sat just inside of them. I have more drafts in my queue than I know what to do with and am running so behind with posts, I guess that’s a good thing though, so many meals to share with you!
We started off with the trio of toasts ($10). I loved all of the different textures and flavors here, it was nice to get a little bite of everything. The trio changes seasonally, so these ones aren’t on the menu now. Currently, this is the selection:
They offer a local cheese board ($12), the types of cheese change daily. I love the presentation here, simple and rustic. I’m not generally a fan of blue cheese but this one was pretty mild.
I had the hand torn pasta ($19). I usually go for the meat pies, but thought I would mix it up a little. I liked the pasta, the texture was perfectly al dente. There was a little too much sauce that really overpowered the dish. They’ve since rotated this item off the current menu.

Park has been a consistent favorite of ours since it first opened – even tricky dishes like the whole stuffed trout are executed flawlessly
