November 25, 2015 Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory
Located at the pier, just under the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory is in a prime location. The day was humid and frankly hot as hell. Of course after walking around at the Brooklyn Flea we were sweating and needed something cool, so we waited in the enormous line to get an ice cream.
The line went out the door and around the building. There are a few seats inside but most people tried to catch the shade of the building at the benches outside. Don’t forget your cash kids, this place is cash only!
There are rest rooms located in the back, and if you try to get to them before you have ordered, prepare for lots of dirty looks from the people waiting in line!
While their ice cream looked delicious, we went with the old fashioned ice cream soda, vanilla ice cream with coke. Although, while waiting to pay, the guy behind me ordered strawberry ice cream and sprite, which seems like sacriledge but I’m oddly intrigued. Next time!!
How do you order your ice cream soda?
