May 6, 2014 Tenoch
Mark and I headed out to hunt for new food trucks – and we decided on Tenoch, a food truck serving traditional Mexican tortas (sandwiches) served on telera bread. The guys on the truck are really great, super friendly.
Mark and I both get the Torta Adobada: telera bread, pork with adobo sauce, oaxaca cheese, beans, onions, lettuce and avocado. A really delicious sandwich, a lot of really great flavors going on here – the pork really shines. Mark and I would have liked the avocado to maybe have been a guacamole spread so that we could have avocado in every bite, but that’s just being nit-picky. A torta will run you $7, don’t forget to bring your cash!
