April 21, 2014 Sultan’s Kitchen
A cute spot right on State Street that you might miss with all the construction going on along the sidewalk. The service is quick and the portions are enormous. Chef-owner Özcan Ozan, uses his 40 years of cooking experience to serve up Turkish cuisine to the Financial District.
The chicken shish kebab plate comes with an enormous pita, rice pilaf, feta cheese and Sultan’s salata. There are some really great flavors in this dish and the veggies are fresh super fresh. You could certainly make two meals out of this dish, all for under $10.
