A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

IMG_1257Al’s is a go to favorite of people who work in the Financial District – it’s been around for over 10 years. Al’s is a family run business, his mom is the cashier at this location and various other members are involved in his other cafes. Al’s has great subs for a low price and the subs are huge! You frequently hear, ‘that’s a small?’ Going into Al’s always makes my heartbeat speed up. The place is fast paced, I’ll admit, sometimes I get a little nervous when I go, so I decide what I want ahead of time.  Stand to the right if you want a cold sub and pay on the left after you get your sub. If you want a hot sub, stand to the left and place your order. Al’s has me in and out in under 3 minutes.

IMG_1258I grabbed an Italian sub – the rolls are great, warm and crusty on the outside and soft on the inside! Great sub, fresh ingredients all for $6.50, and add a soda and chips for $1.50. Stop in and try one if you haven’t already.
