A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

IMG_9617This summer we have been to the Cape TWICE! Insanity. We decided to take an impromptu trip to the Cape on Saturday. We had to stop at Ikea (which on a weekend is like the 7th circle of hell as far as I’m concerned) and the traffic there wasn’t bad at all, so we figured we’d just go the rest of the way! Hangar B just won Best of Boston for best brunch on the Cape. Located at the CQX Chatham airfield, this place has good food and a great views.

IMG_9629We arrived at around 1 and there was only about a 5 minute wait. For such a beautiful day, it was weird that no one else wanted to eat outside and watch the planes take off.

You would think that the proximity to the airstrip would make eating here noisy, but it was surprisingly not loud at all.

IMG_9621I had read mixed review on service, but we had a very nice experience. We were seated promptly, our food came out hot and in a timely manner, and our waitress was good. First cake the home made jams and whipped butter – the raspberry was my favorite.

IMG_9624The lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing ($12). They were light and fluffy with a really nice subtle lemon flavor to them. Three pancakes was too much for me to handle – so I shared 🙂

IMG_9625Three strips of bacon on the side came nicely plated ($4).

IMG_9626The breakfast sandwich was delicious – two eggs, cheddar cheese, tomato, avocado, and lettuce on a grilled croissant served with a side of home fries ($12). The eggs were light and fluffy as well, and the avocado brought something extra to the dish. All the food looked delicious – we will certainly be back to try everything else on the menu.
