A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

We love pork sandwich Saturdays at Cutty’s. Cutty’s is a 16 seat restaurant in Brookline Village run by a husband and wife team, both trained at the Culinary Institute of America.  Pictured above is the pork rabe sandwich-at $8.95 a sandwich, it’s a little pricey-but totally worth it. Pork that has been slow roasted, topped with provolone cheese and broccoli rabe, served on a sesame seed iggy’s roll.

For those who want to go the vegetarian route, the eggplant spuckie.  Roasted eggplant, mozzarella cheese and home made olive carrot salad on ciabatta bread. The carrot salad is a really nice touch, super flavorful and it adds some really nice texture to the sandwich. The bread is just how you want bread to be in your sandwich, something you have to work at to take a bite out of.

Brown butter sugar cookie-by far my favorite sweet here-they are simple yet delicious.

The service here is always excellent-and people here seem really passionate about their food-which is something that you want to see when you go to a small restaurant like this.
