A Little Bit About a Lot of Things

A lifestyle blog with a focus on my food adventures

The pork and leek dumpligs-pan fried (+0.25) were quite flavorful and the wonton skins were much thinner than the ones at Gourmet Dumpling House.

The steamed buns with pork ($6.95) were also thin. When you cut them open all the juices spilled out, but we used our scallion pancakes to soak it up-YUM!

The scallion pancakes were thin, a little salty and I ate them all pretty quickly-it could have been a main meal.

The pan fried noodles with chicken ($6.95) were tasty. They were soft in the middle and crunchy around the outside. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The chicken was flavorful, and you can’t beat the price!

The restaurant is out the outskirts of chinatown, near the theater district. There is no street parking on Washington Street by the restaurant. We pulled over and hopped out for take out. The restaurant is small and modestly decorated-dark wood, a small fish tank, a few  lucky cats…the service was fair-even with take out. They were brisk and not very friendly-but it wasn’t a big deal since we were just jumping in and out. If we were sitting there for dinner I may have been more upset about it.
