The ‘chilli and almond canapes’ and the ‘pistachio pistachio’. The canapes are ‘Chilli spiced bases of 74% dark chocolate pressed with roasted almonds.’ They are thin squares that come 16 to a box. This is my first experience with a ‘spicy’ chocolate so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The spice doesn’t hit you at first but kicks in at the end with a nice warming feeling. The ‘pistachio pistachio’ was a thick square of dark chocolate with a nice smattering of pistachios mixed in. Pistachios are so ‘in’ these days. I’m not a big dark chocolate fan, but one square was quite good as an after lunch snack.
